Coronavirus (COVID-19) – New Government Restrictions

Following the gradual easing of restrictions some of our local tourism and hospitality businesses will be re-opening from 12 April. This includes most outdoor attractions including zoos, outdoor hospitality venues with table service and non- essential retail. Self-contained holiday accommodation will also be open for overnight stays for people with their household or support bubble. Please do check with individual businesses before travel as opening details may vary and booking maybe required.
Please continue to follow all government guidance and regularly check for updates.

With so much to see and do in the area, a little forward planning can help to make the most of your visit to Ashford, Tenterden and the surrounding area. Whether it's a relaxing stay in the beautiful countryside, a fun-filled activity break or even a little indulgence, we can point you in the right direction. Contact our Visitor Information Centre for advice, information, brochures and leaflets to help you plan your visit, or pop in during your stay and meet our friendly, professional team.

For groups visiting Tenterden, coach parking is located in Station Road (east side) just off the High Street and will be available from April until the end of October. Terms and conditions apply.  Find out more information.

There is also free car parking in some Ashford Borough Council car parks after 3pm in Ashford, and on Sundays and at Bridewell Lane car park in Tenterden.  Please visit the Ashford Borough Council website for further details.
