How many tents are there at Wheatfields?

There are two Safari tent/lodges generously spaced apart, approx 60 meters. Both have their own parking bay.

How many do the tents sleep?

The tents sleep up to 8 people each plus the Bell Tent (included) for 2 more which is only for “Sandpipers” guests.

Do both tents have Hot Tubs?

Yes, both have wood fired hot tubs for 6 persons.

Are the Safari tents near other people/buildings?

No, Both tents are on a 500 acre farm positioned half a mile along the farm track in a remote area with no other buildings on site.

Do you cater for parties?

We are happy to host family groups and friends. Hen & Stag parties are welcome when both tents are booked and by doing so have the whole site for the event. Please contact us directly to discuss your requirements.

Can we pitch our own tents?

We don’t allow other tents or caravans - unless the whole site is booked by one group and special arrangements are made

About Wheatfields Luxury Glamping

At Wheatfields we offer two unique, luxury safari lodges set in a stunning location on the edge of Romney Marsh, close to the historic town of Rye and the fabulous Camber Sands.

Our spacious, en-suite Safari tents can sleep up to 8 people so are perfect for families and or groups of friends who want to spend time together enjoying the big outdoors

With hot showers, wood burners and luxurious bedding these spacious tents are fully equipped and have everything you need for a relaxing and memorable holiday, and you can bring the dog too.
