Setts Wood Farm

Come and visit us at Setts Wood Farm! A tranquil rural location yet only a couple of miles from the bustling High Street of Tenterden.

Guests can meet and feed the alpacas, fish in the fishing lake or meet some of the other animals. We are a short hop to beaches such as Camber or Dymchurch, two steam trains are on the doorstep as are prominent vineyards (Chapel Down, Gusbourne), National Trust properties and zoos (Port Lympne, Rare Breeds, Big Cat Sanctuary). Tenterden has several bars, restaurants and takeaways to enjoy plus several country pubs in the vicinity. Rye is less than a 20 minute drive.

You can stay in our spacious detached holiday cottage, Setts Wood Cottage, which sleeps 6. All 3 bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms with their own toilets and there is a further toilet too. The open plan living room/kitchen is ideal for entertaining and in the summer you can sit out on the deck and enjoy far-reaching views and glorious sunsets.

This property is ideal for wheelchair users. We also have Setts Wood Barn which boasts 2 semi-detached holiday cottages, each sleeping 4. Both are decorated to a high standard and all bedrooms are ensuite. You might catch a glimpse of the local deer.

From June to September, we also run Setts Wood Camping and Glamping where you can either bring your own tent or stay in one of fully furnished bell tents. Open weekends and summer holidays. Get close up to the alpacas!
