Witches and Wizards (along with their muggle friends and family) are invited to Victoria Park’s Harry Potter Day on Sunday 20 October between 10am and 3pm.
A spell has fallen over the park and their help is needed to break it! Professor Snape has written a potion to break the spell but one of the ingredients is missing. Adventurous participants will be given a trail map to help them find the missing potion ingredient, the identity of which has been scattered across the park by nefarious forces.
If these brave souls can complete the trail and find out what that missing ingredient is they will be entered into a draw to win the most marvellous prize – a Lego Hogwarts Castle! This fantastic prize has been kindly donated by our friends at Allen Scott Landscape Architecture.
For even more fun some golden snitches will be cunningly hidden around the park and every hour our golden egg will reveal a riddle to be solved. Those students who manage to solve the riddle and bring back a snitch will be rewarded with a special snitch cake from Harper’s Café (but they’ll need cunning wits and quick eyes though as these are limited).
Parking at the park for cars, carriages, brooms and thestrals will be very limited so please take public transport or walk if you can. There is a nearby car park on Victoria Road, which is just a five minute stroll away but this is not free so visitors will need to pay.
So don your robes, grab your wands and come along to Victoria Park on Sunday 20 October, any time from 10am to 3pm for a magical day!
