On Sunday 27th October we will be walking around the village of Pluckley and the nearby Dering Woods. Along the way we will hear tales of spooks and ghouls that are said to haunt this fair Kentish place. Stories of the undead will include a lovelorn monk, an unfortunate highwayman and an old gypsy lady who met a terrifying end. This walk will feature both Pluckley village and the surrounding area so we will be walking through muddy fields and over numerous stiles.
Fancy dress optional.
We will be meeting at at Pluckley Railway Station, Station Rd, Pluckley, TN27 0RT 10:00 for a 10:15am prompt start.
**Car Parking Charges not included**
The walk will take approximately 4 hours (around 11.2 km / 7 miles), will include a lunch stop (lunch not included) and will cost £7 per person. If you are running late, please contact us so we can wait for you.
